Regional Programming Contest Results
Weber State had two teams attend the annual regional programming contest; they were the Weber Purple Screen of Death, and Don't Underestimate My Brain. At our local contest site (University of Utah), one of Weber State's teams placed 1st (the Weber Purple Screen of Death). Both teams had a great time.

Unfortunately, 9 teams placed ahead of us in the region, 7 Canadian teams and 2 from the U of Arizona. But we did beat all teams from the U of U, Utah State, Neumont U., UVU, and Dixie State. BYU registered 2 teams but they were no-shows.

The members of the winning team were:
Austin Poulter, Brody Smith, and Ben Burnett.

Be sure to congratulate them on their personal accomplishment and for bringing state bragging rights to our school and department.

Weber's second team (Don't Understimate My Brain) included:
David Landes, Danny Barker, and Scott Hastings.

Also give them appreciation for their efforts.
