Unix

Your default password will be your first name (cap first letter) followed by cs!. So if your name is John Doe, your password would be Johncs!.

If you just want your password changed, and you still know your password (we highly recommend you change your password frequently), just ssh to Icarus and type "passwd". Follow the prompts and it will change your password. IMPORTANT NOTE: You can't just do this from one of the linux machines, it MUST be done after you ssh to Icarus.

If you need your password reset, contact a lab aide or email Patrick. Provide your name and your username. Your password will be reset back to the default.

Windows
