Lightbox Examples

This example shows the use of lightboxes. While images will open up in the middle of the browser window the rest of the page will remain in the background, but it will be dimmed.

Clicking on the links in this page will trigger a lightbox to open on the page with photographs in it.

Photographs from Paris

You can have more than one lightbox on a page as long as the rel attribute shows a different name for the lightbox. If you want to add a caption for the picture you can use the title attribute on the link. You can even add thumbnail images inside the <a> tags.
