Upgrade the Pig
Though his reason to live is to be
Fattened for market, and
Pork bellies are but an investment,
it seems an oddity
There is more in his favor
Than any mere commodity.
He may wallow in mud,
But this doesn't mean he's dirty!
If given the chance
It can highly entrance
He can be squeally
And squeaky clean!
He may seem to pigout
In his delight to eat,
To delve with his snout
In the trough.
In his verve to make bacon,
And the noise he's makin',
It may seem there's never enough.
In a report it is stated
He is much under-rated,
That in some ways the pig is big;
That in eyes and size, and
if he flattens his nose,
Man may look much like a pig!
