Building A Webpage
For my first homework assignment, I decided to write about coding. I have enjoyed coding since highschool and I am not unfamiliar with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript at all. This is my last semester of college I have to take before I have my associate's degree in Web and User Experience. I am hoping to graduate in December of 2023. Even though none of this material is new to me, I have already relearned a lot of things that I have forgotten to do because I do not use them frequently-- like tables, link titles and graphic links.

Course Is Not What I Orginially Expected

For my degree, I still needed 3 (not 100% sure on that number) credit hours in a CS or Web elective. When I enrolled for this course, I was under the impression the course was similiar to WEB 2890 -- Client-Side Portfolio based on the course description. Now going back and rereading the description, I clearly missed the part where it says introduction to web page development and client-side programming.
Despite the course not being what I expected, I am still excited to be in the course and ready to sharpen my skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I am also excited to have more projects to add to my portfolio for when I do graduate. Like I pointed out already, I have relearned topics in the first week that I have forgotten and I am sure this course is going to reteach me a lot more topics in the upcoming weeks. I am also excited to learn JQuery at the end of the semester. That is not a framework I know, so it will be great to add to my skill set.
