Fly Fishing
Fishing has always been a part of my life. Ever since I was little I would go fishing with my friends and family. My dad taught me how to fish, then I discovered that I really enjoy fishing. I started off by using bait and a spinner rod. This method you just wait for a fish to swim by and be persuaded to eat it. Although I caught many fish using this method, it isn't the best way to catch fish. Fish need to eat a variety of bugs and other fish. I later learned fly fishing, which is a better method for presenting more of a variety of prey for the fish.
Fly fishing is a type of fishing where you use weighted line to present fly baits to fish. Because most of the hooks used for fly fishing are small, the weighted line helps the fishermen to cast farther. Flies come in all shapes and sizes. This gives the fisherman more options to use, but the fisherman must try and investigate what fly to use by looking at the insect and other potential prey.

To go fishing you will need a lot of supplies. The fish thing you need is a fly rod. these can be hard to learn, so I would recomend that the fisherman practices casing. To use practice fly fishing go to: (How to case a fly rod). Once you have a fly rod, you will need to buy a fishing vest. This allows you to focus more on fishing then what happened to your stuff. for vests check out Sportsmans Warehouse. After choosing a vest you will need to find flies that you will use at the fishing spot. For information about where to go or what to use see the table below.
